The HR Journey

According to a recent survey conducted by CFO Magazine and Duke University, we can expect our historic recession to last another year; while earnings, capital spending, and employment are expected to drop in 2009. I must say this part of the survey sounded very “same old – same old”. What surprised me was that the group of CFOs concluded that the top internal company-specific concern is none other than attracting and training employees! Wow, the worst financial crisis we’ve seen in decades and CFOs are STILL recognizing the need for talent management. I think we’re on the right track!
